Prince Goke Bajowa is a Nigerian Gospel Artiste, trumpeter, composer, writer and music director. His genre of music spans across contemporary hi- life, contemporary folk and a fusion of other kinds of African music.
He has drawn inspirations from the works of legends like Uncle Jimi Solanke, Sister Tope Alabi, Uncle Tunji Oyelana, Akeeb Kareem, Dr. Victor Olaiya, Kenny Kore, Sola Allyson? etc. He has also shared the same platform for performance with a good number of the earlier mentioned. His versatility and creativity is well applauded both beyond and within the shores of Nigeria.
Having three albums and several singles to his name, including the hits like Arirarira ,Iwo ko lo da mi, E se gan ni, Hello, Grateful heart, Not afraid etc.
“Iwo ko lo dami” is a song that tells a touching tale of what it means to be despised by man, with only one option to totally rely of the Almighty Creator. It’s a story many are familiar with, the story of David and Goliath. While “Carry Me Dey Go” is Prince Goke’s bid to rightfully claim the popular song as his intellectual property. Enjoy!
