NEW UPLIFTING SINGLE FROM EBI OGINNI: “BE THE BEST YOU CAN” (NOW AVAILABLE)

Ebi Oginni, a Nigerian-born Irish doctor and independent singer/songwriter residing in Derby, England, has released a new track called ‘Be The Best You Can.’

“I wrote this song after going through a challenging circumstance at work and going through a period of self doubt and self depreciation.” I came away from it with the realization that we are all on various paths, with different skills and gifts.
“I wrote this song, first and foremost, to celebrate my progress, to remind myself to simply do myself, and to trust that God will perfect all that concerns me in his time.

I hope this song comforts, motivates, and strengthens you to continue on YOUR OWN personal journey without being distracted by what you see around you.”

Resound Media Ltd, led by Andy Baker, produced this track.

“Be The Best You Can” is now available on all digital platforms.

LYRICS

Verse 1

Driving home after a hard days work

All these questions in my head

Could I have said this

Should I have done that

Oh I don’t measure up

I’m not like them

I turned up the radio and I heard these words

Chorus

We’re all on different journeys

Each one with their own calling

So there’s no need to be just like another

We can only use the giftings

That we have been given

So friend be the best you can

Verse 2

She was truly happy for her friend

as her name was called for the award

But deep down she couldn’t

Help but wonder when

And if her time ever will appear

I turned and I said these words

Chorus

Bridge

 oh the beauty We’ll see

when we all come together

Each unique one finding their own purpose

We’re being designed and shaped

by a master creator

he’ll make us beautiful in his time

Chorus
